Start with the lot on your vial. The original laboratory report provides the context for the results.
Match the lot number
The lot identifier on your vial should match the identifier in the report. A report for another batch does not describe yours.
Check the laboratory and date
Read who issued the report and when. Review the sample description, methods and any stated limitations in the original document.
Read each result separately
Purity, identity and other measurements answer different questions. Use the report’s method, units and notes to interpret each result.
Keep the original document
Open or download the laboratory’s original COA. Summary values should be read alongside the complete report.
